The Mission of Christian Care Ministry is, “To equip Christians to achieve biblical health—physical, financial and spiritual—through innovative and proven approaches.”
Many members understand the importance of maintaining a healthy temple and have taken advantage of the resources offered through the ministry’s Health Initiatives programs.
Now our members who have chosen to live a healthy lifestyle and have impressive test results to prove it, can receive a discount of up to 20% on their monthly share amount.
What is the health discount?
It's a discount offered to our healthy Medi-Share 2.0 members of up to 20% on their monthly share amount.
How do I know if I qualify for the Health Discount?
To qualify for this discount, a member must meet specified health criteria, using the chart below, on an annual basis, including HbA1c level, BMI and weight/waist measurement. These tests must be conducted within 90 days of each other. Members must obtain, at their expense, certified testing to document their results and annually thereafter to qualify.

Do my spouse and I have to meet the criteria to qualify for the discount?
Yes, both adults must meet the criteria. However, adult children age 18-23 are not required to meet the criteria.
Must I be a Medi-Share 2.0 member to qualify?
Yes. Only standard members of Medi-Share 2.0 qualify for the health discount. A standard member is a member who is not a mandatory Health Partner.
Does the healh discount renew each year?
No. The health discount does not automatically renew annually. Within 90 days of the effective date, the Member(s) must submit new test results in order to determine if they still qualify for the health discount.
How do I get an HbA1c test?You can order the HbA1c test by
clicking here. The cost is $25 for the first test kit and $23 for each additional. The HbA1c test must be done with the testing kit supplied by CCM (other testing kits are not acceptable).
Can I have my HbA1c test done elsewhere?
Yes, however, the test must be done at a licensed lab where the blood is both drawn and tested (it must be a blood "draw," not "drop"). If you choose to get your test elsewhere you will still need to download and submit the
Health Discount Verification Form.
When will my Health Discount take effect?
That depends. All your results must be received, reviewed and approved by CCM prior to the 7th day of the month for the Health Discount to be applied to the following month’s share amount due. If after the 7th, the Health Discount will not apply in the following month, but in the month after.
